- Understand their responsibilities and professional role following a safeguarding referral
- Identify ways to maintain professional boundaries and keep themselves safe when managing safeguarding concerns

Vicki McKeown is a psychotherapeutic counsellor, qualified social worker, clinical supervisor, and trainer. With 10 years in private practice and over 15 years’ experience working with children, young people, adults, and families, Vicki is passionate about delivering engaging, meaningful training that bridges theory, legislation, and the realities of everyday practice. Her trauma-informed approach ensures training is both evidence-based and practical, equipping professionals with knowledge and confidence they can apply in their roles.
