1. Refund policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you need to cancel your course booking, we offer the following refund policy based on when you request the cancellation.
2. Cancellation and refund timescales
2.1 More than 30 days before the course date
Full refund (100%) minus a £25 administration fee
2.2 15–30 days before the course date
50% refund of the course fee
2.3 Less than 15 days before the course date
No refund. However, you may transfer your booking to another available course at no extra charge.
2.4 On or after the course date
No refund. Participants who fail to attend have no entitlement to a refund or rescheduling.
3. How to request a cancellation
To cancel your booking, please send a written request to Hello@VLM.Group clearly stating your name, course date, and reason for cancellation (optional). The cancellation date is the date we receive your written request, not when you notify us verbally.
4. Refund processing
Once we have processed your cancellation request and confirmed you are eligible for a refund, we will process the refund within 14 working days. Refunds will be returned to your original payment method. Please allow 3–5 working days for the refund to appear in your bank account.
5. Transferring your booking
If you cannot attend your booked course, you may transfer your booking to another available course at no extra charge, provided you request the transfer at least 15 days before your original course date. After this date, transfers are at the discretion of VLM Group Ltd.
To request a transfer, email Hello@VLM.Group with your original booking reference and your preferred alternative date.
6. Course cancellation or rescheduling by VLM Group
If we need to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., trainer illness, venue unavailability), we will notify you as soon as possible. You will be offered:
• A full refund, or
• Transfer to an alternative course date at no extra charge
If we make minor changes to the course date, time, or location, you accept these as part of your booking. If the changes are substantial, you may request a cancellation or transfer.
7. Exceptional circumstances
We recognise that genuine emergencies can occur. If you have a serious reason for cancellation (e.g., bereavement, serious illness) close to the course date, please contact us at Hello@VLM.Group. We will consider requests on a case-by-case basis.
8. Non-attendance
If you are booked on a course and do not attend without notifying us in advance, your payment is forfeited and no refund will be given.
9. Eligibility for certificates
Certificates of completion are only issued to participants who attend the full course duration.
10. Dissatisfaction with course content
While we aim to deliver high-quality training, course content is not returnable. If you are dissatisfied, please provide feedback via our contact form.
11. Disputes
If you have a dispute regarding a cancellation or refund, please contact us at Hello@VLM.Group. We will respond within 14 days.
12. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights under UK law.
